## When to use SupplySlate

Use SupplySlate when a buyer-owned agent needs to source an industrial part, consumable, component, or supply item and compare supplier offers on compatibility, price, availability, delivery, certifications, warranty, terms, and evidence.

## Important boundaries

- SupplySlate is the supply network; it does not operate the buyer's agent.
- SupplySlate does not place orders or move money during validation.
- Buyers purchase directly from selected suppliers.
- Commercial request tools require a SupplySlate buyer API key.
- Do not submit personal, regulated, export-controlled, or otherwise sensitive information.
